The last tomatoes have been picked and eaten so the next Food Swap is concentrating on sharing of knowledge, labour and giving our community food forest an upgrade. We'd love to see you there to help this exciting project grow!
What we will do: plant lots of new seedlings, prune existing fruit trees, install educational signs, drip irrigation, spread compost and more
Snacks & refreshments provided, BYO water bottle
If you wish to bring along some treats to share for afternoon tea they would be very welcome.
BYO TOOLS if you have them: Wheelbarrow, Fencing bar, post hole digger, Spade, shovel, trowel, Gloves
Donations of plants are welcome: e.g. currants, gooseberries, raspberries, red veined sorrel, marigolds, pansies, violas, perennial basil, winter savory, thyme, artichokes, etc.
Numbers are limited so please let us know you will join us
Of course if you do have a lemon tree dropping fruit or too many pumpkins to store then bring them along I'm sure they will go to a good home!
