CAVALIERS www.facebook.com/cavaliersofficial Formed during a cold winter in Southern England, Cavaliers came together through a mutual love of pub lunches and seventeenth century monarchs. The outcome has resulted in a collection of infectiously catchy indie jaunts. Taking the upbeat, driving melodies of Two Door Cinema Club and Bombay Bicycle Club, whilst incorporating a finger-tapping math rock tinge to the sound, Cavaliers are receiving plaudits after each and every stage they grace. This includes supporting King Charles in Exeter and Southampton, as well as shows with Johnny Borrell, TTNG and Butserfest Festival. Debut EP Gazella was released April 2014, with the track “If I had 50p for every time you stabbed me in the back, I’d be looking at least £8.60” receiving airplay from Melita Dennett on BBC Introducing – The South. Another track from the EP was also featured on BBC 6 Music. This Mini-Tour celebrates the release of a studio video for live favourite ‘Blind Corner’, set to feature on the bands first full-length recording later this year. FLASHFIRES www.facebook.com/flashfiresmusic Friends from school, FlashFires have a unique bond that shines through in their song writing and their live shows. Despite only just being out of their teens, they are writing tunes that their older peers can only dream of, a bold statement perhaps, but one that is fully justified. Sitting somewhere on the indie/rock spectrum, their own self-proclaimed brand of Fire Indie Disco, FlashFires are here to have a good time and everyone is invited. The band have been gigging extensively and have supported the likes of Catfish And The Bottlemen, The Telescreen, The Birthday Suit (Idlewild) and The Rifles in the past few months. NUDYBRONQUE www.facebook.com/nudybronque Convention is not really a word used or even uttered in the world of NudyBronque, as Tom Robinson from BBC Radio 6 affirms they are “Not just another band with unfashionable hair”. Their 2014 Moondog EP was full of kitchen sink drama but turned the mundane into the magical, no song ever quite going where you think it will and yet still hooking you in from the start TRIBECA https://www.facebook.com/tribecaband Tribeca, are an alternative rock four-piece band from Basingstoke. The boys take influences from artists such as Nirvana, Band of Skulls, Foals and Jack White. They've played support slots for bands such as La Shark and JAWS as well as headlining their very own headline gigs at the Joiners Arms, Southampton and Guildford's Boileroom. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday 25th May The Islington, London, N1 0XT £5 Advance tickets £6 OTD 18+ (I.D Required) http://www.seetickets.com/Event/cavaliers/the-islington/874734
