Composer/Performer collective Ensemble Pamplemousse presents a potpourri of adventurous new music that deals in the concepts of introversion and exhibitionism. The concert will feature the US premiere of Steven Takasugi's spectacular piano solo Die Klavierübung and the NYC premiere of Eoin Callery's malicious large ensemble work Morning in the Manor. The three new works by members of Ensemble Pamplemousse feature a solo saxophone manifestation of extreme solitude (by Andrew Greenwald), the exploitation of size and sound (by Natacha Diels), and a new piece for human-controlled robotics as seen through the eye of a slide whistle (by Bryan Jacobs).
