Justice is coming … to the Orlando Fringe!
The Timber Creek Thespians proudly present Sophocles’ ELEKTRA in a new adaptation by Elizabeth Brendel Horn.
ELEKTRA swept District V Thespian Festival, earning a Straight Superior score, Best in Show, Best Actress, and a coveted slot at the Orlando Fringe Festival!
Elektra returns for one day only on Sunday, May 17th at 11 a.m at the Orlando Fringe Festival in the Silver Venue (the Edyth Bush Theatre at The Orlando Repertory Theatre). Tickets are $5 and 100% of the proceeds benefit the Timber Creek Thespians. All audience members must also purchase a $9 Fringe button, required to attend all Fringe performances.
The production runs forty minutes with no intermission. The Fringe does not seat latecomers, and expect parking delays, so please arrive plenty early.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Trapped and tormented after the brutal murder of her father, Elektra finds herself torn between what's real and what's imagined. This classic Greek tragedy turned psychological thriller explores what happens when the thirst for revenge becomes all consuming. Please note, Elektra is Rated PG-13 for violence, death, and mature themes.
