“I have come… to listen.”
Don't have any plans for the summer? This is an exciting opportunity to join the cast of a high-profile show at this year's Edinburgh Fringe. We're holding auditions for one male role ("He") and one female role ("She").
There is no need to prepare anything in advance - extracts will be available at the auditions.
Following a highly acclaimed sell-out run in 2014, 'Roughs (For Radio)' is being revived for the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe. 'Roughs' is an immersive staged reading of two radio plays by Samuel Beckett. Funny and terrifying by turns, the entire perfomance takes place in front of a blindfolded audience.
Praise for Monkfish Theatre's ROUGHS (FOR RADIO):
'Gut-wrenchingly human... immensely effective' **** (Varsity)
'Wonderfully creepy’ **** (Tab)
'Dark' (The Times)
'Vivid and affecting' 9/10 (TCS)
'Very exciting' (BBC Cambridgeshire)
