Come out and celebrate the rebirth of Ecstatic Dance Maine and DJ Moon's 43rd birthday.
June 6, 2015
Arrive at 6:45, Starts at 7p, Closing at 9:30, Community time till 10p
We will open with a circle and spend the first 30 minutes learning an aspect of the form. Then we will take our self-practice into an un-facilitated ecstatic dance journey that ends with a closing circle.
Please arrive early, doors close at 7p and plan to stay for the full offering. Each of us shares in holding this sacred, safe, and loving container.
This is offered by donation with the intention that we cover our rental, DJ, and facilitator fees. We suggest giving between $8-10 and no one will be turned away for lack of funds and we appreciate you giving what you can.
All are welcomed to attend regardless of experience.
People of all ages and abilities are welcomed to attend and participate. There is a wheelchair ramp.
If parents bring children please take full responsibility for them and there is a large space downstairs where childcare could evolve if enough people were interested in that.
All of our offerings are sober events. Do not come intoxicated and do not imbibe during the event.
Dance in barefeet or with dance shoes
No talking on the dance floor
