EXTRA DRUMS (Extras to SHARE from 9pm.)
Q & A ~
Q: Never been to a drum circle. Do I need to bring my own drum? If so, what kind of drum and where would I get it? I'm not sure if I have good rhythm, do you teach? Also, if I just want to watch or dance, is that OK? Thx!
A: We have extra drums to play from around 9:00 pm. Any kind of hand drum is good. (ie djembe, congas, dunbacks, dun-dun, djun-djun, etc...)
All percussion & wind instruments are welcome! Anything that does not require electricity…
Anyone can play w/ this circle-- & anyone can just watch or dance, too! We are encouraging -- there are no mistakes!
We believe by joining in, over time, you will improve your rhythm.
Some facilitation is led by Frank. Dancers provide some visual cues to raise & lower the energy & to set tempo.
