TL;DR version at the bottom. Note--this isn't an event you'll show up to in person, nor does it necessarily have to occur on May 15th. Hello, Facebook friends. As many of you know, I will be spending my third summer with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps this year. For those of you not familiar with the activity, drum and bugle corps is essentially the highest level in the marching arts community. Members spend roughly twelve hours rehearsing every day over the summer to perfect an 11-13 minute performance. This year, spring training begins on May 16th, 2015 and World Championship Finals takes place on August 8th, 2015. As a music education student, my participation is a highly beneficial experience for me. Unfortuantely, with the payment of the most recent installment of my member fees (which total $2850 for this season), my bank account is very nearly empty. Because of this, I'm asking for a little bit of help in being able to continue living the most life-changing experience a young person can have. Donating online is simple and easy. Just visit and enter "Noah Dyer" in the box that says "Member Name". Then enter the amount you would like to donate in the "Quantity" box (really, any amount is a huge help. Even a dollar!), click "add to cart", and then proceed to checkout. It's pretty much the same process as just about any other online purchase and a donation can be made at any time. If you prefer not to use the internet, checks in the mail are also much appreciated--just message me for my address. Thank you very much for your consideration. My involvement in the Madison Scouts in the past has been absolutely instrumental into shaping me into the man I am today and has greatly enriched my life. If you have any questions whatsoever or would like more information on what the drum corps experience is like, please feel free to message me on Facebook, visit the corps website at , or search "drum corps international" on YouTube or Google. TL;DR: I am going on a journey of self improvement through music this summer, but it's really expensive and I don't have enough money to pay for it. If you could please consider donating, I'd really appreciate it.
