This is the first of 3 films to be presented by The Greenhouse Project. Narrated by Jamie Lee Curtis, Dirt! The Movie brings to life the environmental, economic, social and political impact that the soil has. It shares the stories of experts from all over the world who study and are able to harness the beauty and power of a respectful and mutually beneficial relationship with the soil. Dirt! The Movie is a call to action; Healthy Soil = Healthy Food = Healthy People. The film will be followed by a Q&A discussion with local expert panelists. Light refreshments will be available before the screening. A $5 donation per person is suggested to help defray expenses and allow the Greenhouse Project, a non-profit charity corporation, to serve the local community. Come join us!! We are showing the film at the University of Scranton’s Pearn Auditorium on the second floor of Brennan Hall, which is located on Madison Avenue near the corner of Linden Street. Doors open at 6; film at 6:30. Please help drive our community toward the Greenhouse Project’s mission of “Growing a Sustainable Community through Education, Food, and Healthy Living” while enjoying these provocative and educational videos.
