 21 May

 Redmonds Building, Brownlow Hill - L3 5UG - Liverpool - United Kingdom
 Sally Kah
What will be discussed? Issues around culture, diversity and community will be discussed. For more inclusive and informative dialogue, all participants are asked to send a ‘topic’ for discussion that will form the agenda. The agenda will be sent to all participants prior to the event. What to expect The facilitator will introduce members of the panel and discuss the order of event. Participants are expected to engage in conversation in a round the table format. The facilitator will set up a structure for conversation based on topics presented by participants prior to the event. Why is it important? o To help us overcome and prevent racial and ethnic divisions. Racial and ethnic divisions result in misunderstandings, loss of opportunities, and sometimes violence. o To envision a ‘just and fair’ society and work towards creating that vision. o In order to build communities that are powerful enough to attain significant change, we need large numbers of people working together. If cultural groups join forces, they will be more effective in reaching common goals, than if each group operates in isolation.
