Inflate launch ‘Dated’ at the Crouch End Festival, 6 & 7 June 2015.
This new interactive experience explores the history of courting, comparing it to modern day ‘online’ dating.
Getting a date can be easy these days; finding a greater connection, beyond this, seems strangely challenging for many, even in a modern world where technology readily presents the options.
Are we possibly spoilt for choice? Is there simply too much choice, to make the ultimate choice to settle down? Or have we allowed modern means to suck the charm out of something that should be so wonderful?
Would we, in our grandparents’ era of courtship, simply have found a mate and settled down. Would we have ‘settled’, in that respect?
Pay a visit to the ‘Dated’ dating agency, set in 1950’s Crouch End. Share in the stories of romance past, rummage through the archive of real internet-dating exchange, and make your place in dating history…
