With Memorial Day and summer on the horizon, it's time for the KY Railway Museum annual dance. Below is more information about it. They want dancers in the day and in the evening. Here is our plan for the day (and evening) Our new addition will be a 40s style dance/wine tasting event starting at 6. We will get started around 10:00AM with the setup of the WWII military camp, provided by the 14th Armored Re-creators. They bring tanks, trucks, jeeps, and a lot of guys in uniforms. They will be spending the night on Saturday. AT 11:00AM , music and dancing will get started. The Ladies For Liberty will perform two 30 minute shows. There will be a 1940s costume contest (prizes include gift certificates, photo session at the museum, and a "vintage" turntable unit donated by Crosley Radio) We will have members of the American Legion Post from Bardstown there as our honored guests. And of course the train ride will leave at 2:00.
