Vegetarian Tasmania and Sea Shepherd Australia are hosting a screening of the groundbreaking feature-length environmental documentary, Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret.
The film follows an intrepid filmmaker as he uncovers the most destructive industry facing the planet today – and investigates why the world's leading environmental organisations are too afraid to talk about it. As eye-opening as Blackfish and as inspiring as An Inconvenient Truth, this shocking yet humorous documentary reveals the absolutely devastating environmental impact large-scale factory farming has on our planet.
Following the film, we will have a Q& A session with a panel of experts to discuss the issues raised in the film. The panel will include:
Meg Good - Director of Education at Animal law Institute and PhD Candidate, University of Tasmania
Michael Bruhn - Sea Shepherd
Karen Bevis – Coordinator of Vegetarian Tasmania
