"Rock Art of the Colorado Plateau; a cultural perspective "

Colorado Archaeological Society - Grand Junction Chapter (CAS-GJ) will hold it's 2nd lecture/ meeting on Tuesday, May 19th 7-9 PM at the GJ City Hall/ Council Chambers at 5th St. & Rood Ave.
Please come in the west-side - 5th St. - doors to City Hall.
If you are a professional, avocational or purely novice in your archaeological interest there will be place for you in this newest chapter of the state-wide CAS.
This is the second of what will be monthly meetings; and, as soon as May, we anticipate beginning field trips to sites of archaeological interest.
Speakers/ presenters and field trip organizers and general volunteers will be needed. Please step up to become an active part of this dynamic group. We had 86 people attend our first lecture/ presentation April 21st.
Collectively we will teach and learn and share and visit the old and not so old culture and heritage of our Colorado and Utah region.

This meeting is FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC. Donations will be accepted to help defer the cost of the meeting room.
You are encouraged to become a member of the GJ-CAS group as membership in this or another chapter of CAS will be required to participate in field trips.
