Please plan to join us for our first annual “Claws for a Cause” outreach fundraiser. On Sunday, May 24, we’ll be blocking off South Commerce Street and enjoying live music, delicious food (lobster, BBQ, or burgers and hotdogs), kids activities and more!
All proceeds will be evenly split between two ministries that work with special needs individuals: Pleasant Acres Day School and The Damascus Endowment.
Founded in 1959, Pleasant Acres Day School provides life skills training and life enrichment to special needs adults in our community. The Damascus Endowment was founded to provide scholarships for special needs individuals to attend Camp Bratton Green. Our diocesan camp has touched the lives of many special needs campers with two week-long sessions each summer and has also provided opportunities for generations of counselors to learn servant ministry.
