The Bicycle Music Festival is a
collaborative effort of local businesses,
green organizations and passionate
organizers/community members. The
CBMF is a pedalpowered festival
where bicycle powered generators
provide electricity to the performers
and the sound system. We will bike
parade through the town to two
different venues and generate active
community engagement, growing
festival momentum throughout the day.
The entire audience/band/crew packs up everything they bring (stage and musical equipment too) onto bicycles and travel as a large group to the next festival stop, whiling having a LiveOnBike performance. A LiveOnBike performance is where a performer is in a cargo tricycle and serenades the bicycle parade with the help of a wireless microphone and a fully charged car battery.
