For females living in poverty, getting their periods is a huge challenge. Since menstruation is a taboo topic, most people are unaware of the reality that homeless shelters are in great need of pads, tampons and menstrual cups. All the feminine care products we buy and collect will be donated to the St. Vincent DePaul Homeless Shelter in Bristol, CT on June 13th at Brittani Murphy's "Haircuts for the Homeless" event. We are accepting monetary donations which will be used to buy feminine care products for the shelter. Go to this link to donate. If you'd prefer to directly donate feminine care products instead, contact Aly, Danīsha, Grace, Katie or Sarah and we will set up a time to come get the items from you. Please and thank you! -Bristol Feminists E-board
