Nineties Flying Nun band " Chainsaw Masochist " are playing their first show in 25 years during NZ Music Month. Performing at The Thirsty Dog , Saturday May 16th with the full original line up ( including Debbie Silvey from Garageland ) , the Chainsaws will rattle off their student radio hits including the record breaking " These Walls " which had an unparalled 12 weeks at number one on 95bfm's top 10 .They'll also be throwing in a few new tunes to boot.
Special guests are Superturtle and Dam Beaver ( featuring Darryn Harkness from Loud Ghost , New Telepathics and Serafin ) .Oil wheel and overhead projections by LSD lighting limited also feature, with indie vinyl spinning by DJ Slimy.
