Friends, Family and the Community of MacGregor,
Each and everyday someone is being diagnosed with cancer and chances are it may be someone you know personally. As many of you are aware, one of my best friends Mac Wiebe, was diagnosed last summer with brain cancer. Over the past year Mac has undergone surgery to remove the tumor, has had radiation and continues to take chemotherapy. Just recently Mac found out that he will have to undergo a second surgery as unfortunately there is another tumor. To show my support for Mac and his family I will be walking in the Central Plains Cancer Walk on June 13th and I want to challenge all my friends, family, and community to join me in showing our support for Mac.
The walk will take place June 13th and begins at the MNP Building on Island Park with opening ceremonies at 8:00 am and the walk beginning at 8:15. Individuals wishing to make donations or join the MAC ATTACK team can register online at the link below or in person at Central Plains Cancer Care Services. All those participating in the walk must raise a minimum of $100 each in donations.
I will also be ordering T-SHIRTS with a team logo, “Kicking cancers butt one step at a time”. Half the money from the t-shirts will be donated to the walk. For those who wish to purchase a t-shirt please contact me ASAP with your size as they will need to be ordered right away.
If there are any further questions I can be contacted through email: email@example.com, or by text (204) 871-0521.
Let’s Show Mac just how supportive MacGregor really is!! Please spread the word the more people the better.
A big thank you in advance for your support,
