Celtic Trail - Long Distance Cycle

 05 June
 Fishguard South Wales
  - - London - United Kingdom
 Andrew Moss
Group Size - no limit as long as accommodation available. This is intended to be a sociable cycle ride that will appeal to all those who don't want anything technical. It will follow a combination of national cycle network (NCN) routes 4 and 47 across a mix of on-road and off-road cycle paths for relatively straightforward riding. The route will Start in Fishguard and will follow the Pembrokeshire coast back to Mumbles by Swansea. The overall distance will be approx. 120miles. We will drive to the finishing point of this trip by 'The Mumbles' just a couple of miles south of Swansea on the Thursday evening. Then we will cycle the few miles into Swansea and stay in a hotel there and get the train to Fishguard the following morning arriving approx. midday. We then have a relatively short 35 mile cycle via St Davids to Broad Haven YHA @ approximately £15 pp. The following day we have approximately 45 miles to the Travelodge at St Clears. Then on the last day we will cycle approx. 40-45 miles back to the Mumbles where we will drive home. As the weather is guaranteed to be perfect we can stop off at the many beaches and seaside pubs en-route to sample some (or lots) of the local food and drink :-) http://www.sustrans.org.uk/ncn/map/route/celtic-trail
