Join certified Health Walk guides Laura and Gordon from Clydesdale Community Initiatives - CCI on a Health Walk starting at Clydesdale Community Initiatives and heading around Castlebank Park in Lanark on bank holiday Monday. Developed as part of a green health initiative, the walks involve a gentle stroll around the picturesque historic town of Lanark, where the focus is as much about enjoying the company of the walk and the sights, sounds and smells as anything else. FAQs Where can I park? Parking is available directly opposite from the CCI office on North Vennel. What are the underfoot conditions like? The walk takes place mainly on pavements and through parks so the walk is relatively easy, but will involve the crossing of roads so care should be taken, especially if children are in the group. What should I wear? The walk is a relatively easy walk over level terrain but we'd recommend walking boots and a waterproof just in case of spring showers. Is the event suitable for children? Yes, but all children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult as the walk will involve crossing roads. Can I bring my dog? Dogs are more than welcome but we ask that they're kept on a lead.
