Join Lorna Davidson, Director of New Lanark World Heritage Site, to explore the historic New Lanark Woodlands.
The walk will follow the recently restored pathways, originally laid out by Robert Owen, and take in the New Lanark Burial Ground, Clearburn Natural Picnic & Play Area and some spectacular views.
The pathways were originally designed for the health and well being of the workers and play an important role in the philanthropic philosophy behind the site. See what clues you can trace about the mill workers' lives from the burial ground tucked away in the trees on top of the hills and find out more about the award winning Clearburn Natural Play & Picnic Area.
Meeting Point: Reception area of the Institute for the Formation of Character (main visitor building).
