In June Easton will blossom into a glittering hub of creative arts, crafts, cooking, music, and knitting. People will take to the streets, be welcomed into artists’ homes, sample new dishes and home-made cakes, try alternative healing, be amazed by installations, and generally celebrate the energy of this vibrant neighbourhood.
The open houses and venues will open around 11am and close around 6pm on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June 2015.
I will be selling my work at the All Hallows Hall Church - which is a really interesting Venue*. I will have my small items of Glassware and Jewellery to sell. It is bound to be a really fun weekend!!
*In June 2012 All Hallows Church Hall had been empty for around seven years and was derelict and fire damaged when the building was occupied by community activists with a mission to save the hall from redevelopment.. The space was made clean and safe and within a few months it opened to the public.
All Hallows Community Co-op Ltd was formed and a lease was arranged with the owner, the purpose of the company was to run All Hallows Hall for the benefit of the community. A large number of volunteers rescued the building and contributed their time, effort, money, equipment, tools and love to the project.
