Fucking right it's The System, Anthrax, Virus, Public Order Act, Piss On Authority and loads of other bands, dj's and a delicious veggie BBQ thrown in too! THE SYSTEM - Formed in 1980, they soon came to much a claim and recognition, with the release of their debut blistering ep on Spiderleg Records in 1982, titled 'The Warfare ep'. This was followed by their second ep, again on Spiderleg 'The System Is Murder' ep in 1983. Thy also contributed a great track to the 'Wargasm' comp album in 1982, titled 'Their Decisions' 30 years on, the band are still playing, still gigging and gaining much respect wherever they go! With more vinyl due on Anthrax's label, Grow Your Own Records, we're delighted to have The System down to play.... Formed in Gravesend, Kent in 1980, they have been a major part of the anarcho punk scene. In 1982 they released their debut ep on Crass Records, the 'Capitalism Is Cannibalism' ep. Also in 1982, they contributed their 'All The Wars' track to the debut 'Bullshit Detector' comp album on Crass Records. In 1983, they released the awesome 'They've Got It All Wrong' 4 track ep on Small Wonder Records, and in 1984, had their track 'It'll Be Alright On The Night' included on the Mortarhate Records comp 'Who What Why When Where' Fast forward to 2012, after releasing comp albums of all their singles releases, the band released the superb album 'All For The Cause' on their own Grow Your Own Records. In 2014, they shared a split ep with Burnt Cross and plan for further releases on their own label. VIRUS - Anarcho punk rock band from Gillingham, Dorset in the UK, originally formed in 1983. Split in 1986, briefly got back together in 1996 before permanently reforming in 2006 and went on to release two albums on Active Distribution. In 2013, they released a 7" single on All The Madmen Records, titled 'It's Not What It Appears'. The band have a future split released up with The System and Bug Central, that is due for release on Grow Your Own Records. @[NjQyMTgzOTU5MjA4MTA3Omh0dHBzXGEvL3d3dy5mYWNlYm9vay5jb20vVmlydXMuUHVua1JvY2svdGltZWxpbmU6Og==:] PUBLIC ORDER ACT - Bristol-based dub punk trio Public Order Act been very busy in the past year, gaining respect and supporting the likes of Culture Shock, Firepit Collecitve, Spanner, The Sporadics along with sets at the Dirty Weekend and Boomtown festivals last summer. RADIOACTIVE BONES - Psychedelic Punk Dub Space Rock from Southampton. VOLATILE IDEA - Noise Hardcore / D-Beat Punk from Bristol, Active on gigging scene since 2014, Fast, distorted and rad. GARDEN FOLK - Five piece stomping folk punk from Bristol with violin and sax, featuring members of Subversive Fire MERCURIUS RISING Favourite at The Red Lion, BS5 - Acoustic anarcho folk punk ska from Bristol/Cirencester + Further bands to be announced. DJ's and a delicious vege BBQ. * This will be an all dayer and gig will start in the afternoon. Times to be announced once all bands are confirmed. They'll be acoustic acts in the garden early on to enjoy whilst the BBQ is going. Door price yet to be confirmed, but we'll probably go for £3 donation if you've got it.
