Carmina Burana with SF Symphony Chorus

 17 May
 Davies Symphony Hall
 201 Van Ness Ave - 94102 - San Francisco - United States
 Pacific Boychoir Academy
Hear a transcendent concert with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus. Under the direction of Chorus Director Ragnar Bohlin, the San Francisco Symphony Chorus has been deemed “mighty and volcanic” by the San Francisco Chronicle. Bohlin leads the Grammy award-winning San Francisco Symphony Chorus in Orff’s exhilarating Carmina burana. With its visceral choruses and thundering percussion, the popular Carmina burana is arguably one of the best-loved classical works, and a true choral showpiece. Also on the program, Stravinsky’s mesmerizing, but rarely performed, Mass. Arvo Pärt, a modern mystic, brings reverent soundscapes to the stage in Te Deum.
