Seething Akira are a 4 piece Electro rap band from Portsmouth in the south of the UK. Combining elements of hiphop, Rock and Dubstep, Seething Akira blend a unique style uncomparible with others.
Consisting of Charlie Bowes (writer, vocals) Kit Conrad (vocals) Stu Radcliffe (Drums) and Jay Doutre (Guitar) the band formed in late 2010 when Charlie stepped away from hiphop production to build a new “refreshing” project creating something that was unique, and set them aside from other bands.
After two years of hard grafting, Seething Akira were then noticed by ex-Prodigy and Pitchshifter guitarist Jim Davies. Recognising the fresh style, Jim offered to produce their debut single “Firepower” that was then released in May 2013.
Supporting established acts such as Foreign Beggars, Hacktivist and The Algorithm early in 2013, they have not gone un-noticed, being booked for Techfest UK and Properstock UK amongst others.
With enough material for a full album, Seething Akira are currently looking for management, with view to take “the next step” and gain more exposure globally
Dead Town Nothing
Dead Town Nothing hail from the south UK and started in the summer of 2011, having formed from the ashes of "Cry for Silence", "Adelphia of Kings", "New Set of Bruises" and "Penny's Dropped."
The name "Dead Town Nothing" was lifted from the Boston hardcore outfit " The Hope Conspiracy", and with a mutual outlook at where Dead Town Nothing hail from the name came into it's own
Since forming Dead Town Nothing have been a familar face on the UK cercuit and released their Debut Album in January 2013, playing venues far and wide and creating a buzz to their unique style of Hardcore Punk Rock.
The Future is bright and Dead Town Nothing wants to be part of it.
The Bitter-Town Hounds
The Bitter-Town Hounds formed in August 2011 as a 5 piece Hard Rock band but gradually added Punk Rock and Metal to the sound. The band then became drummerless in august 2012, but despite having numerous drummers playing musical chairs on the drum stool the band have been able to write a solid 90 minute set of originals and record a 8 track demo EP. After a lot of thought and set backs from having no permanent drummer the band decided Toby should become the drummer until a permanent drummer is found.
From the very beginning..
The Bitter-Town Hounds came together in August 2011 through their love for skateboarding and split of previous bands. The bands original line up consisted of Deklan Webb, Rowan Rashley, Jack Bowden, Toby Rashley and Harry Adams, after a year of writing and gigging locally Harry then parted ways with the band due to the hassle of juggling two bands at once.
March 2013 the band recorded and released their debut self titled demo EP to a hometown crowd at a DIY show in Gosport, this received good feedback but the demo quality just wasn't enough to justify/capture the power of the bands sound, so despite having no permanent drummer for the most part of 2013 the band managed to carry on with Toby (guitarist) on drums.
Glimpse of Misfortune
Glimpse of misfortune is a muti genre band originating from Bournemouth. Formed in July 2014 with 5 members wanting to do different styles of music, the band struggled to decide which style to go with, this lead to members leaving and the band being on the brink of ending. However nearing the end of the summer we got to a point where the band was comfortable with the new members and had an idea of what we wanted to achieve.
Being a muti genre band helps us to express and expand into all types of genres that we have an interest in, now almost a year together Glimpse of Misfortune is rising fast and working towards our first EP.
