Busan for Gender Equality - May Meeting

 17 May
 Table Talk English Cafe
 Nam-gu Daeyeon-dong 76-2 - - Busan - South Korea

I somehow did a worse job this month of making this in a timely manner. >.< For this meeting, I'd like to start with current events from the past month. I think this would be a good way to start each monthly meeting, to give a chance to discuss events relating to gender equality and feminism on a forum outside of Facebook. I think it's important to be able to do this face to face. After that, I'd like to delve more into non-violent communication, something we briefly touched on last month. I have since read the book "Non-Violent Communication" by Marshall Rosenberg, who I believe coined the term. I'd like to share with you all what I've learned and try a few of his exercises with each other. I am a complete beginner so I'll be right there along with you guys, but I think applying non-violent communication methods to our conversations about gender equality will greatly help our cause. It will be our last meeting at Table Talk, because they are closing, so we can then discuss plans for next month! My idea for June is to pick a specific cause to focus on and get out into the community and do something. More details to come. :) Hope you can join us, as always everyone is welcome, and invite your friends.
