Brandon Flowers gears up for the release of his brand new single tomorrow with the announcement of a European headline tour for this May. The tour follows the release of The Killers frontman’s brilliant new solo album, ‘The Desired Effect’, on 18th May, and stops in Brussels on Tuesday 2nd June. Fans will be able to hear the first single from the album, ‘Can’t Deny My Love’, tonight from 8.30pm CET.
Tickets for Brandon Flowers’ upcoming Belgian show go on sale this Friday 27th March at 9am, with fanclub presale available from Wednesday 25th March.
‘The Desired Effect’ is the successor to Flowers’ chart topping 2010 debut solo album, ‘Flamingo’, and sees him team up with producer Ariel Rechtshaid (Haim, Vampire Weekend, Charli XCX) for the first time in a collection of songs that shows him at his most sonically diverse and playful. The album was recorded at Battle Born Studios in Las Vegas, with further sessions at Heavy Duty and Vox Studios in Los Angeles.
Brandon Flowers’ solo return follows a time of continued huge success with his band The Killers, whose fourth consecutive #1 album, ‘Battle Born’, was released in 2012, with the greatest hits collection ‘Direct Hits’ following in 2013. The band has gone on to play a landmark, sold out Wembley Stadium show, and continues to headline major festivals around the world.
