159, Wardour Street, London, W1F 8WJ - W1F 8WJ - London - United Kingdom
Blow Up continues its Friday residency in Soho at the legendary St Moritz Club and this week STORMS will be performing live, starting off their monthly residency at the club (followed by 19th June, 31st July and 28th August).
The basement club is one of the last 'original' venues in the West End, virtually unchanged since the 60s, and Blow Up kicked off it's new Friday night residency here in January
Expect to hear classic tracks from both Blow Up's past and present: from Brit Pop era favourites (the scene which the club helped kick-start way back in 1993 in Camden Town) to the current new Pop & indie stylists putting the art back into pop colliding with 60's Soul, Beat, Garage, Funk, Ska, Swinging Soundtracks, Hammond Heavy Jazz, Easy Listening & Ye-Ye! Brit Pop, Glam & Post Punk / New Wave will all be present and correct.
** STORMS **
STORMS are playing a four show residency across the summer at the Blow Up at the St Moritz Club Wardour St Soho - Friday 22nd May, Friday 19th June, Fri 31st July, Fri 28th August and on stage for each show at 10.30.
The London band are currently recording their debut album with Steve Osborne (Placebo, Young Guns, New Order, U2, ) and are the newest addition to the MUK Roster. Storms have been building a live reputation touring solidly in 2014, ending 2014 with rip roaring performances headlining a UK tour with LIFE, whilst being tipped for 2015 by the likes of XFM (several plays at the station including from Dave Roundtree) and recently headlined live agency, X- RAY’s Touring tips for 2015 at Hoxton Bar and Grill.
