Bio's and Artists Links:
Maciek Dudkiewicz a.k.a. MINUSEIGHT is a Minimal/Electronic/Techno Producer/DJ from Poland. He started listening to Techno and Minimal music whilst in college. He liked how the music was different from what is considered commercial/chart music. It strongly took his attention and allowed Maciek to show his creative side when he learnt how to mix records.
Maciek discovered a real passion for DJ’ing and early bookings came easy due to his excellent ear for detail. Demand drove his confidence and passions grew and he realised it was a role he wanted to perform on a more professional level.
In 2004, Maciek moved to the UK. He found himself getting involved in the underground party scene, where he met several music producers who showed him how to layer deep electronic sounds whilst keeping a minimalistic foundation. When he started producing his own deep Minimal material, he applied these techniques and the results can be heard on his first album “MINUS”.
Since the success of his first album, Maciek has continued producing deep minimal music. MINUSEIGHT productions can be found on ModularGrid Records, SeeSaw Records and Raw Paper Records.
Since 2011, Maciek has been a resident DJ and founding member of BETA in Norwich UK.
Jon Gordon aka Ch² began to dj around 1997. He soon had his first gigs playing a combination of breaks, house and techno in Norwich. In Late 1997, along with some close friends he started the club night Bionic Soup, which at it’s infancy it’s style was more breaks, house and techno. Later, Bionic Soup became best known for it’s harder side, Acid Techno.
Towards the end of the 90’s Jon moved to Brighton to study Music Technology where he met up with his school friend Will Holmes. Over the next 5 years Jon & Will collaborated on and released a number of House and Techno records on various record labels including Tekktonn Records.
In 2004 Jon & Will started to put together a live pa (Channel 2) using hardware instruments and software which eventually over time transformed into a combination of using original material mixed with other productions. At this time, along with playing their live pa at events and parties they also had a long standing radio show on Transmission FM.
In 2011 Jon (along with some like minded friends) started a club night project called Beta. The purpose of Beta was to promote the Minimal, Tech House, Techno and Electro scene in East Anglia by showcasing local talent. Jon is now living in Amsterdam where he is currently working on new techno productions and continues to promote and perform at dance music events.
Boho (Also Known As: Przemysław Wójcik or Przemek for non-Polish speakers) born June, 1986 in Poland - minimal/techno producer and DJ.
He is now completely hooked on low bassline frequencies and, hypnotic, intelligent, minimalistic sounds which you can experience by listening to his productions.
As 'Boho' the musician knows how to take us to the deep and dark atmosphere of minimal techno. He is also able to show us the light and soft side of electronic sounds by being 'Przemek'. This ability gives his music an unique flavors.
