Award-winning writer Belfast writer Jaki McCarrick dramatizes Irish history: On the cusp of a great societal revolution, five street women orphaned by the Irish Famine embark on a journey of love, betrayal and adventure, hopeful they will find a fresh start in a new land. *Sunday, May 17 – CWI attend together? Please let me know if you would like to join me and a few others for this performance on May 17! We can get a special ticket rate if we have a group of ten or more. This includes a short pre-show reception, the performance of Belfast Girls and a post show discussion with members of the cast and the Artistic Director. Jaki will be with us the opening week, making Sunday, May 17th an ideal time for your group (CWI) to meet this extraordinary Irish woman and award-winning writer! Since the performance itself starts at 6:00, I assume that the pre-show will be around 5:00, but will confirm that with anyone who e-mails me that they plan to attend and have purchased their ticket. Tickets are $20 and groups can be arranged for any Thursday evening, Saturday matinee or Sunday evening during the run. Maybe we could meet for dinner before or after it.
