For students with no belly dance experience. At the beginner level, you’ll be dancing in your very first class! This class will provide a foundation in fast and slow tribal moves at a comfortable pace in a supportive environment. We’ll focus on posture, isolations, and layering moves on top of each other. Continuing students will fine tune their movements while adding the skill of zilling on top of what they already know.
Wear comfortable clothing: Yoga pants, leggings, t shirt tank top.
Be prepared to dance in bare feet or socks.
Feel free to wear a hip scarf/ jingle belt if you have one, but they will be provided for you during class.
Classes will run for 10 week sessions at West Chester Wellness Center.
