Three chefs will match sharp knives and quick wits in an exciting culinary showdown to benefit Founders Hall. Chefs Bernard Bouissou (Bernard’s), Silvia Bianco (chefsilvia.com, formerly of Biscotti) and Prasad Chirnomula (Thali Restaurants) will open a basket of surprise ingredients in front of an audience of over 200 and, in just 60 short minutes, vie to create the winning entrée, as judged by a panel of food experts, including renowned food writer Jane Stern. Amy Kundrat of regional food blog Ctbites will emcee the action.
Join the Battle to savor and judge appetizers created by the three master chefs. Mingle with the chefs before and after the entrée competition, and get close to the action during the entrée competition. Enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres and an open bar throughout the event. To taste the chefs’ entrees, you may buy either a seat at a tasting table (limited number available) or the winning raffle ticket for an open slot on the judging panel. This culinary extravaganza will culminate with signature desserts from all three chefs.
