Babywearing Ballet is a 45 minute long post-natal fitness class designed to help the new mother strengthen, tone and stretch her body while strengthening her bond with her new baby. The class will focus on the proper technique required to lengthen and strengthen muscles while emphasizing proper posture for both ballet and babywearing.
Enoying a ballet class with your baby will help to reignite self confidence and grace while inspiring you to love the art in yourself. By sharing this special time with our babies and other mothers we are cultivating a community of respect, strength and creativity.
Yoga or dance attire with ballet slippers, socks or bare feet recommended for class, no jeans or street shoes please.
Babies should be worn in a carrier that allows a tummy to tummy hold or a back carry. Cradle hold nor a forward facing carry is recommended for this class.
I will have extra carriers on hand, but please contact me prior to class in order to reserve one.
Class is for any age experience level and for any age baby as long as you feel comfortable wearing them!
