On Saturday, May 23rd, three Asian American literary organizations across the country will come together as a community and a family to honor literary ancestors, mentors and teachers that have inspired and emboldened us throughout the years.
This event will take place in real-time as Kearny Street Workshop, Kundiman and The Twin Cities Asian American Literary Community share readings, collaborative writing and more.

Join Kundiman at Fordham University Lincoln Center in the South Lounge at 8:00 EST for readings, collaborative creative writing and a reception. Readers include Nancy Bulalacao and Alison Roh Park.

Reclaiming Our Roots: APA Arts-Activism 1960s-NOW culminating event! Three cities, three Asian American literary histories. Together we will be honoring our literary ancestors via simulcast. Doors open at 4pm, live jazz by Karl Evangelista, a political poster exhibition curated by Leon Sun will be on display, and Dan Lau will be leading writing exercises..
