Lawrence (Larry) learned to love art by watching his parents paint, draw, and sculpt. When he was eleven, he was given his first canvas and set of oils and began his lifelong interest in the visual arts. Educated in the fields of mathematics and philosophy, Dr. Weill has been a philosopher and college administrator for over thirty years. Throughout that career, he has carved out time for his art.
This exhibit will contain Larry's works in photography, pencils, oils, and mixed media. What he captures in his work is the object as the consciousness constitutes it, recognizing the impact our awareness of time and space have on our understanding of the world. His work reveals the textures and dimensions inherent in the object.
Larry and his wife Jennie live in Kuttawa, Kentucky.
