Word from our Sponsors :D
Background information from the show's sponsors: Dodge via the Chrysler Foundation is matching what we raise for the Fisher House up to $25,000.00. Last year with the help of Corporate sponsors like Chrysler we were able to raise over $50,000.00 for the Fisher House Foundation! We’ve partnered with a true “Car Enthusiast” venue and this year’s event is one you won’t want to miss.
Moparpalooza, presented by in 2015 by DCMODERNMOPAR and Dominion Raceway, is a charitable automotive event held annually in the Washington, D.C. area. The 2015 event will celebrate the eighth year of uniting Mopar vehicle owners to share their automotive passion for everything Mopar. In 2014, with the help of corporate sponsors like the Chrysler Foundation, Moparpalooza was able to raise over $50,000.00 for the Fisher House Foundation!
The event will again feature a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and merchandise for sale. In 2015, our nation’s wounded warriors will once again benefit from Moparpalooza proceeds through donations to the Fisher House Foundation.
Over 550 people have submitted their RSVP via Facebook for the event which is scheduled for May 30, 2015, from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the brand new Dominion Raceway in Thornburg, VA.
The event is open to the public for spectators.
The Brand New Dominion Raceway located in Thornburg, Virginia represents a new model for Motorsports facility’s and Entertainment venues.
Unlike conventional Motorsports locations that are more rural, Dominion Raceway is located on Interstate I-95 with almost (1) mile of Interstate road frontage and convenient interstate ramp access. Dominion Raceway breaks the old traditional model of purchasing land in rural undeveloped area’s and trying to drive racers, fans and sponsors to that remote location. Dominion Raceway’s highly visible location reduces advertising costs and serves as a constant visual reminder to the 109,000 cars that pass by and see it each and every day.
Thornburg Virginia is central too; it is within 50 miles of the Nation’s Capital (Wash D.C.) and 50 miles of Richmond, Virginia the State Capital of Virginia as well as many localities in Maryland. Literally within a travel period of 1hour you can reach three large metropolitan markets, where millions reside along with some of the highest family and per capita income in the Country today.
In addition to a highly visible location Dominion Raceway offers three distinct and separate Motorsports venues; a 4/10 mile NASCAR sanctioned oval, a 1/8 mile NHRA sanctioned drag strip and a 2 mile SCCA/NASA/Pro-Motion Club sanctioned Road Course. That combination of offering’s is unlike anything in the United States today and provides a multitude of Motorsports/Entertainment offerings and revenue streams. The old model of relying on just one or two motorsports venue’s to support a facility is gone, now an array of income streams is available from numerous motorsports and entertainment sources.
