This charity rugby fixture played between Firefighters and the RNLI Lifeboat crews and Lifeguards, will be taking place this year on the Cornish Pirates ground in Penzance. The last two years have been resounding success with a great turn out of players from around the services and support from the local area, which raised two thousand pounds for The Fire Fighters Charity and the RNLI.
This year we will be raising funds for the Macmillan Cove project, the RNLI, with their money going towards a new boathouse for the Penlee crew and The Fire Fighters Charity. This will be a really good day watching good local rugby, with a BBQ throughout, a raffle and auction afterwards. We hope this attracts a decent crowd again with the aim to better last year’s attendance and fundraising total.
The date of the rugby is the 30th of May 2015 – KO 1430, please save the date and we hope to see lots of people there ether playing or supporting. There is a Facebook page set up for all upcoming events and info in the lead up to the game –
