Well everybody, we had such an amazing time last year at the Adventure Park, I felt it was definitely to our advantage to book this next trip at an awesomely discounted price, and, well, give us something to look forward to in the spring! The Adventure Park at West Bloomfield features ten ropes courses of varying difficulty with ziplines and different challenging elements. It is pretty intense and great for anyone who would enjoy spending some time outside, 25 feet up in the trees (depending on the course), and wants to challenge themselves a bit! Last year when I organized the trip to the Adventure Park we had a blast - we ended up with 18 of us! It was so much fun and was awesome to challenge ourselves - and laugh and struggle and be so sore in muscles we did not know we had the next day, haha. Will be great to see you all back out there and the new climbers too!
Here is the deal: the Adventure Park has a promotion where we save 30% off the group price if we book now. Basic pricing info - without a group it is $44/climber, with a group is $39/climber, with the current group promotion it is $27.30/climber. Great deal. This includes 3 hours of climbing. However, to get this price we must pay in full by this Monday March 2nd. The way we did it last time, which works fantastically was - when you join this event I will message you (if we are not friends check your other inbox or add me...) with two things. First, my email address for you to paypal your $27.30 as I will need to make this all as a single payment for the group. Second, I will send you the link to the liability waiver that must be completed before the climb. It takes about two minutes to complete online and saves time at the park so we can get right to climbing and not have to worry about paperwork!
Additional info for when May comes:
What to wear: The Adventure Park is open, rain or shine! Please be sure all participants are dressed appropriately for the weather conditions on the day of your visit. Athletic, closed-toe shoes are required—heels, sandals, flip flops, crocs, etc. are not permitted on the courses. Long hair (below the chin) must be tied back. Gloves are provided, however you are welcome to bring your own, or buy a pair of your own in our retail store when you arrive. Please note that the gloves provided are to protect your hands on the courses, and are not designed for warmth. On cold days, climbers may wish to wear their own gloves underneath the climbing gloves provided.
You are also advised not to carry phones or cameras or anything that may fall, get caught on lines, or distract you... I would recommend leaving pretty much everything in the car! There are small lockers for necessary items. You are also free to bring drinks (no alcohol of course! haha), and snacks/food! Can keep in a backpack up front where lockers are to revisit and refresh. If you would like to carry a phone or camera I would recommend it is in a zippered pocket or completely attached to you somehow. Cannot guarantee it wont fall and also dont want anything dangling! Thanks!
