A CELEBRATION of the Life of Allen Patterson (And Resumption Of The Vices)

On April 1st, we learned the devastating news that everyone's friend, Allen Patterson, had Glioblastoma (an aggressive type of brain cancer). After removing a good bit of it, we then learned something else ...That even with a comprehensive treatment plan, we could get 15 to 18 months to spend with him. His family and extended family - which includes a worldwide blog audience, a statewide group of political activists, a countywide party of freedom fighters, and a community-wide base of church family, co-workers and friends - all felt kicked in the gut. But, even with this dark cloud, there is a blessing that we often don't get with other loved ones: The opportunity to show him how much he means to us and to tell him about how he's impacted our lives while he's still with us. Please join us at the Stagecoach Ballroom in Fort Worth at 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 21st to CELEBRATE the life of Allen Patterson - Husband, Father, Plant Manager, Writer, Political Activist, Musician and Friend. We will have people reading some of his favorite articles from The Whited Sepulchre; We will have an all-star band performing some of his songs HE has written; We'll have friends and family telling hilarious and heartwarming stories - and afterwards, we have the legendary Stagecoach Ballroom at our disposal to help him with "The Resumption Of The Vices". It will get emotional. It will be hilarious. It will make you sing. It will make you cry. It will make you hug people. It will inspire you. But, in Allen Patterson-style, above all else, it will be a blast! If you have anything you'd like to be said, if you have any incriminating photos, if you have anything at all for this event - please personal message me. We look forward to seeing EVERYONE there to salute and raise a toast to everyone's dear friend, Allen Patterson.
