This tournament is being held in memory of Tedd Patterson who passed away in March 2011 of colon cancer. Tedd was a well-respected member of his community, who tirelessly gave of himself to enable the needs of others. Much like Habitat for Humanity; who provides low income families with the opportunity to purchase decent affordable housing, as well as giving volunteers the opportunity to restore lives in their community.
We are partnering with the Apostles’ Build project on Harrison Street and Habitat for Humanity. With the funds raised from this tournament we will be able to build a house for a family in our community. This house will provide a wheelchair accessible single level home for a family with a child diagnosed with cystic fibrosis.
This is a two person captain’s choice tournament with multiple flights; a maximum of 50 teams, with awards given to the top three teams in each flight. The cost of each team will be $150, with all proceeds going to Greater Lynchburg Habitat for Humanity. There will also be opportunities to purchase mulligans, strings, 50/50 tickets, etc.
