Come on down and savor some of the best barbeque around. The Tongues of Fire Barbeque Ministry Team of Davidsonville United Methodist Church invites you to enjoy meats that are smoked and slow-cooked, Southern-style. The Strawberry (May) and Peach (August) Festivals offer thin-sliced pit beef, pulled pork or chicken sandwiches with homemade coleslaw. Platters add pit-cooked chicken to the meat offerings and fabulous bbq beans. A variety of homemade sauces enhance the enjoyment. Drinks include fresh homemade lemonade, sweet tea and unsweetened tea.

Tongues of Fire is "Spreading the Gospel, one bite at a time". Hope to see y'all there.
Proceeds benefit the Davidsonville United Methodist Church and, most significantly, its Volunteers In Mission program. This outreach effort helps people recover and rebuild after disaster strikes. DUMC's VIM teams have been to New Orleans twice, Mississippi four times, and to Florida and North Carolina one time each. This year a crew will be sent again to help the folks in Crisfield, Maryland, which suffered catastrophic damage from Hurricane Sandy. Local beneficiaries include the Lighthouse Shelter and Partners In Care. Thank you for your support!!!
