Join us as we ride from Harley-Davidson of Erie to Ashtabula, OH to meet up with the Warren Western Reserve HOG Chapter and escort the flag to Erie. This is the first leg of our participation in the Patriot Tour. We'll be stopping by an elementary school where we'll be greeted by enthusiastic students & faculty. More surprises are in store. We hope you will come along for a great ride for a great cause. Kick stands up at 10:00 a.m. ONE FLAG, 48 STATES, 100 DAYS HONORING AMERICA'S ARMED FORCES WHAT IS THE PATRIOT TOUR? Every year The Nation of Patriots organizes a national effort that pays tribute to, and honors, all of America's Armed Forces - Past, Present, and Fallen. This united effort is known as The Patriot Tour. Every year we ride for the members of our military - to show America's support, our thanks, and our united pride by passing one American Flag throughout the country. The Patriot Tour begins during Memorial Day weekend. A massive group of riders escorts one American Flag on the back of a motorcycle to Woodstock Harley-Davidson in IL. Upon arrival, the flag is transferred to the IL escort. The very next day the Flag is taken to IN and the next it travels to MI...and on and on for 100 days, through 48 states. The Flag finally makes it full circle and lands right back in WI where it all started over Labor Day weekend. It’s the very foundation of the American Flag and all it represents that our brave men and women in the military have stood and died defending, continue to stand and protect, and will forever fight for. The flag will arrive in Erie, PA on Friday, May 29th and will be displayed at Harley-Davidson of Erie. On Saturday, May 30th we will escort the flag to Jamestown Harle-Davidson. Registration will start at H-D Erie at 9:30 am and a voluntary donation is requested to participate. All money raised will be forwarded to the www.nationofpartiots.org organization to benefit servicemen and women. The ride will leave at 11 am and take a 60 mile ride to Jamestown, NY. We'll arrive at Jamestown H-D and hold a short flag transfer ceremony. The ride will take place rain or shine and we hope all area bikers will attend.
