TICKETS ARE ON SALE!!!!!! https://ssl.charityweb.net/monmouthfoundation/event/finnfest.htm
A little late on the Facebook page, but I hope you are all as excited for this years Finn Fest as we are! This is the 5th annual Finn Fest, which means a lot to us. The $5 bill is often referred to as a Finn. The 5 Ball in a game of pool is orange, much like the color of hair many of us Finn children had (and still claim to have!). And hopefully going to be the best Finn Fest yet.
Each year we are continually blown away by the support we get from our family and friends, and we are getting ever closer of our pledge to raise $100,000 towards the creation of of the Joe Finn Music Therapy Program. With a great turnout this year we are hoping to reach that goal and see the program get underway.
The Joe Finn Music Therapy Program will offer iPads for patient use in the Infusion Center, an annual Joe Finn Music Therapy Program Survivorship Concert and Group Therapy Support Sessions. The goal is to promote patient comfort with additional applications to aid in ongoing research, related to how effective the hospital's care is. We are helping each of the more than 15,000 patients seen in the hospital every year with access to diversion while they are undergoing their treatments. We are also helping to create a platform in which the hospital care providers are able to streamline collection of information to include assessments of care, pain, mental health.
For 30 years Joe Finn brought us together at The Norwood Inn on Sunday afternoons to celebrate life with his gift of music ranging from the Irish folk tradition on which he was raised to the songs of Neil Diamond which so many enjoyed; we hope you can join us this year for another Sunday afternoon honoring the rich tradition he developed over those years.
We look forward to hopefully spending this glorious day with each and every one of you. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!
