This gathering, put together each year at the Erie County Fair Grounds, includes camping, local bands, a bonfire, and an organized 8.2 mile canoe/kayak float on Saturday. Gates will open Thursday, May 14th for early arrivals.
Admission is $25 per person in advance, $30 the day of and includes access to live music on Friday and Saturday nights, the float (including canoe/kayak transport and shuttle service), and tent camping. The cost also includes the lunch stop on the creek, and an ox roast dinner at the fairgrounds afterwards. Proceeds from the event benefit the Wattsburg Agricultural Society (Erie County Fair).
There will also be a $200 cash prize for best decorated canoe/kayak, and trophies for best costume and person traveling the longest distance. Fire rings are provided at the campsites and some sites have electric hookups for an additional charge($15).
