1000 Butterflies is a project aimed at promoting and aiding in recovery for those struggling with an Eating Disorder. If you would like to be a part of 1000 Butterflies send us your first name or a nickname along with the date you began recovery (approx. date is fine). We will be creating 1000 paper butterflies in honour of each person who is recovering from an eating disorder and will be sticking them onto a giant poster-board. As the amount of butterflies grow, we will take photos to show the growing community in order to demonstrate that you are not alone in your recovery. At your request, we will also add you to the group 1000 Butterflies where you will be able to discuss recovery options, tips and strategies, any difficulties or even provide an understanding voice to others who are also recovering. We will be adding useful information and encouragement to the group from time to time as well so make sure to keep an eye out for that too. We all know about the astounding transformation that caterpillars go through to turn into the breathtakingly beautiful butterflies that we see floating around our gardens. This got us thinking that becoming a butterfly is a lot like recovery. To come from a place of darkness and venture out into the world and embrace the world once again is what we are all aiming for. List your name and recovery date below, inbox us at Her Fearless Heart or send an email to fearlessheart@live.com
